Belgee Hits Pause on Top-Selling Crossover in Russia

Belgee has temporarily halted sales of its most popular model in Russia, the X50 crossover. The vehicle has been removed from the brand’s official Russian website, a move confirmed by company representatives. According to a press release, the automaker is currently assessing market conditions and evaluating the future of the X50, including its trim levels and continued availability in the region. "We recently launched the new Belgee X50+, and we are now focusing our efforts on that crossover," the company stated.
The X50, which is built on the Geely Coolray platform, first arrived in Russia in September 2023. Despite the sales pause, the model has performed well: 9,244 units were sold in the first five months of 2026, a 6 percent increase over the same period last year. For now, Belgee’s Russian lineup consists of three models: the S50 sedan, the X70 crossover, and the X50+, a refreshed version of the X50 that debuted in March 2026.
