Brazil Finally Gets the BMW M3 in Wild Custom Colors

The BMW M3 G80 may be nearing the end of its production run, but the sports sedan just gained a fresh coat of personality in Brazil. After a long wait, the first batch of M3 Competition models has landed locally, painted in vivid Individual colors that turn heads: Java Green, Frozen Purple, Ruby Star, Smyrna Green, and Techno Violet are among the initial offerings. If those don’t fit your style, BMW Brazil is offering roughly 150 custom shades through its Individual program.

The M3 arrives in Brazil exclusively as a rear-wheel-drive Competition model paired with an automatic transmission. Pricing starts at R$ 894,950, though that figure climbs once you add a special exterior finish. The Individual color option was first announced nearly a year ago, with deliveries originally slated for January 2026. That timeline slipped, but the cars are finally here.

This delayed rollout mirrors what happened with the limited-run M3 CS. That model made its global debut in January 2023 but didn’t reach Brazilian customers until May 2024. Only 17 units were allocated to the market—each one came with a helmet.

Looking ahead, BMW M is preparing two successors. An all-electric “ZA0” with four motors arrives next year, followed by a gasoline-powered “G84” in 2028, likely featuring a mild-hybrid inline-six. Neither is expected to offer a manual transmission or rear-wheel drive. The electric version will come standard with a natural-fiber composite roof; an optional sunroof is planned, but a carbon-fiber roof appears off the table. One thing that won’t change: buyers will have plenty of Individual colors to choose from.
