Moscow's New Restaurant Puts AI in Charge – From Waiters to the Kitchen

MOSCOW, July 29 (RIA Novosti) – A restaurant in Russia has taken automation to a new level. At this eatery, artificial intelligence isn't just a gimmick – it's the backbone of the operation. AI-powered waiters and cashiers greet diners, answer questions about dishes, and even flag allergens. The technology, developed by Russian IT firm Inno Clouds, mimics natural conversation so closely that customers might forget they're talking to a machine.

But the AI's role goes far beyond the dining floor. The entire menu, including each dish's nutritional data and recipe, was crafted by a neural network. In the kitchen, video analytics monitor food preparation and ensure consistency. The same system handles employee time tracking: cameras recognize staff members when they arrive and automatically open their shift.

Even the restaurant's finances are managed by AI. The system tracks revenue, costs, and other key metrics, allowing the business to operate with minimal human oversight in back-office tasks. According to Inno Clouds, this is part of a broader push to make restaurants more efficient and data-driven.

While robot waiters have appeared elsewhere, this venue is among the first in Russia to integrate AI across nearly every function – from greeting customers to closing the books. The result, the company says, is a seamless experience where technology handles the tedious work.
