Nearly Half of Russians Open to AI Advice, Survey Finds
July 13, 2026

A new study from media holding Rambler&Co reveals that nearly half of Russians are ready to turn to AI assistants for advice and explanations on complex topics. The survey, released Monday, shows that 40% of respondents see AI as a go-to source for breaking down difficult subjects into simple terms. For many, these digital helpers are becoming a natural part of everyday information-seeking.

Beyond general advice, 16% of those polled said they use artificial intelligence for learning, including studying languages and picking up new skills. Another 14% rely on AI to organize their day, manage to-do lists, and set reminders. Smaller but notable groups use AI for shopping and household tasks (6%), or for finding evening entertainment, leisure activities, and travel ideas (6%). A broader 18% view neural networks as a versatile tool for a wide range of daily scenarios.

The study also captured a nuanced public attitude. While 44% of respondents see smart assistants as a useful tool, they do not consider them a cure-all. Another 26% expressed hope that people won't lose their ability to think independently as AI becomes more common. On the positive side, 19% view neural networks favorably, primarily as a way to save time and energy on routine chores. Only 11% admitted they have not yet found significant practical value in AI.
