Polish Fashion Giant LPP Taps AI Startup to Build 3D Product Clones
LPP, the Polish retail powerhouse behind brands like Reserved and Cropp, has inked a deal with Pirxe, a specialist in spatial artificial intelligence. The collaboration aims to produce high-fidelity 3D digital twins of the company’s entire apparel lineup, moving beyond traditional photography and into a fully virtual catalog.
The technology, which uses AI to capture and replicate the exact shape, texture, and drape of garments, promises to slash sample production costs and speed up time-to-market. Pirxe’s spatial AI scans physical items and converts them into detailed digital assets that can be rotated, zoomed, and viewed from any angle—without requiring a physical prototype. For LPP, this means designers and buyers can review new collections remotely, while e-commerce customers get a more lifelike preview of how clothes actually fit.
Industry watchers note that the move signals a broader shift in fast fashion toward digital-first workflows. LPP, which operates over 2,000 stores globally, has been under pressure to reduce waste and inventory bloat. By replacing physical samples with digital twins for early-stage design and marketing, the company could cut down on shipping emissions and fabric waste. Pirxe’s founders, who previously worked on computer vision projects for automotive and logistics, are betting that fashion’s appetite for hyper-realistic digital assets will only grow.
Neither side has disclosed financial terms, but the partnership is expected to roll out across LPP’s core brands by the end of next quarter. If successful, it could set a template for how traditional retailers adopt spatial AI without overhauling their entire supply chain.
