U.S. Lifts Export Restrictions on Anthropic’s Latest AI Models

According to a report from Politico, Anthropic executives held a briefing for members of the Trump administration in June, walking officials through the company’s cybersecurity measures in an effort to ease those fears. The presentation appears to have paid off. The company said it will now work to reinstate access globally and will provide updates on the rollout. The lifting of restrictions marks a significant shift in how the U.S. handles cutting-edge AI exports, balancing innovation with security.
